Willowbrook Farmhouse Cottage is located in Burlington’s up and coming downtown area. We fell in love with it’s natural daylight, wood floors and downtown location near Willowbrook Park. Recently updated with a Modern Farmhouse feel that blends historic details with clean vintage-modern style and amenities, this little house knows how to live big.

Willowbrook Farmhouse Cottage is a delightful 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with a light, bright and fresh feel. The livingroom has a calm airy feeling thanks to several large windows, neutral blue-gray colors and beautiful refinished wood floors. It opens into a lovely dining room space offering open concept living.

The renovated kitchen has a bright light feel and includes a dishwasher. The side entry includes a window-filled laundry room with hookups for a full sized washer and dryer, and access to the basement storage.

The front bedroom, currently used as an office, is a spacious sunny room featuring an original (non-working) fireplace and a two closets. The master bedroom is quiet and serene with dual closets, located adjacent to the renovated bathroom. The bathroom is recently renovated with herringbone tile floors and subway tile shower/tub.

  • Good Credit (670+)
  • Income of $3,345/mo+ (3x monthly rent)
  • 1yr lease

A few guidelines to help determine if this property is a good fit for you:

  • Tenant is responsible for all utilities and lawncare.
  • Please park in the driveway only. Driving or parking on the lawn is prohibited.
  • We request that no artificial air fresheners be used in the house (glade plugins, scented candles, scented fabreeze sprays, etc). These chemicals can persist in a home for years. I have some chemical sensitivities and we want to keep the house free of irritants, both for myself and for others who could have respiratory reactions.
  • Smoking/Vaping is not allowed inside any buildings, near any entrances to buildings or anywhere on the property where smoke could enter the house through doorway or windows.
  • We require all tenants to carry renters insurance for a minimum of $100,000 in coverage. It’s usually a nominal monthly fee from your preferred insurance provider.

OUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT LIVING IN BURLINGTON NC

There is so much to love about this great little town. Here are a few of our favorite things...

“I love the proximity to daily needs. Downtown Burlington is less than a mile away. I can easily go to the bank, post office, library, arboritum, and grocery store in a very short amount of time. It makes running errands easy. Plus, you can enjoy a meal out at a restaurant, enjoy a morning at The Blend coffee shop or a sweet treat at Smitty’s Ice Cream, less than a mile from the house. It’s so convenient. If you are looking for quick food options, be sure to try out Burlingon Food Hall.”

“I love the easy access to Elon, Burlington and Graham. The central location makes it very easy to get to places around the Triangle and Piedmont area like Greensboro and Durham. You can easily jump on the highway and be at the beach or in the mountains of Asheville in just a few hours. We have two international airports about 30-40 minutes away and Amtrak is walking distance. Living in Burlington means you are close to desirable areas such as Chapel Hill/Carrboro, Saxapahaw, Hillsboro and the Durham Tobacco District but here we have found affordable living options and less traffic.”
